Deloitte, Canada’s largest professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant for its Supply Chain & Network Operations team, specializing in Manufacturing Strategy and Smart Operations. This role offers an opportunity to lead transformation initiatives that redefine operational excellence for clients across industries. You’ll play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies that leverage analytics, automation, and digital technologies to optimize performance and efficiency.
The position provides exposure to leading global organizations, hands-on involvement in large-scale transformation projects, and opportunities to travel across Canada and internationally. Project Delivery & Client Engagement
Lead manufacturing strategy and smart operations transformation projects for clients across diverse industries.
Conduct in-depth manufacturing assessments, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategic roadmaps for operational improvements.
Utilize advanced analytics and digital manufacturing tools to drive cost reduction, process optimization, and technology integration.
Manage client relationships at senior levels, ensuring clear communication, strong trust, and successful project outcomes.
Identify business development opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support sales activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Deloitte’s global network to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.
Operational & Strategic Leadership
Assess and redesign manufacturing systems to enhance quality, productivity, and supply chain performance.
Lead and coach junior consultants, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional growth.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Develop and implement production planning, scheduling, and capacity analysis models.
Integrate emerging technologies such as ERP systems, MES, PLM, automation, and smart factory technologies into client operations.
Travel & Collaboration
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time across Canada, the USA, and globally as required for client engagements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment that promotes flexibility and connectedness.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing-related consulting or industry roles.
Expertise in operations excellence, quality improvement, and process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in ambiguous environments.
Experience with digital manufacturing, automation, and ERP systems preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees (MBA, MS in Supply Chain) preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification considered an asset.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset due to the national and global nature of Deloitte’s clientele.
Annual Salary: CAD 80,000 – 138,000 (approx. CAD 6,666 – 11,500 per month).
