Senior Commercial Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Property Operations Managers to support capital planning, sustainability efforts, monthly financial reporting, and operational property meetings.

• Present and participate in co-venture meetings, both virtually and in-person.

• Conduct thorough property inspections and maintain top-tier performance in janitorial, maintenance, and security services.

• Plan and lead long-term initiatives for capital repairs and enhancements.

• Manage procurement and oversight of service contracts, including snow removal, landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance.

• Resolve tenant concerns with professional follow-up and maintain high tenant satisfaction.

• Implement tenant-focused initiatives including insurance, environmental, and energy programs.

• Assist Leasing and Specialty Leasing teams in managing new leases, renewals, and showings.

• Monitor tenant lease compliance and communicate tenancy concerns to the Leasing Department.

• Support the Accounting team with accounts receivable/payable processes.

• Collaborate on variance reporting, forecasting, and year-end financials.

• Assist with lease documentation and tenant invoicing as required.

• Monitor and analyze expenses, identify budget variances, and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial property management.

• Proven experience managing retail properties.

• Strong understanding and experience in financial reporting and budgeting.

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

• Compensation: CAD 88,000 to 92,000 annually
