This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with business leaders, leveraging your expertise and network to provide financing solutions and advisory services that fuel entrepreneurial growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with entrepreneurs, clients, and prospects to understand their business needs, identify challenges, and propose BDC’s tailored financing solutions and advisory services.

  • Develop and execute a personal action plan aligned with the Business Centre’s objectives to ensure client growth, retention, and acquisition of new business opportunities.

  • Analyze, negotiate, and present financing proposals, exercising strong credit judgment and risk assessment.

  • Actively participate in the local business community by networking with associations, chambers of commerce, and business leaders to strengthen relationships and generate referrals.

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients while ensuring exceptional service delivery and measurable impact.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial credit, business analysis, or business development.

  • Proven track record in business development and achieving objectives.

  • Strong client relationship management and advisory skills, with a reputation for providing effective business advice.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, results-driven mindset, and ability to deliver value-based solutions.

  • Team player with ability to build lasting and trusted partnerships.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required depending on location.
