BDC, Canada’s development bank for entrepreneurs, is seeking Senior Commercial Account Managers to join its Quebec team for future opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Prospecting: Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach to generate new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Build long-lasting relationships with clients, understand their financing needs, and provide personalized solutions.
Advisory Services: Collaborate with clients to understand challenges and goals, offering expert advice and guidance.
Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in commercial financing to identify new opportunities.
Proposal Development: Prepare persuasive proposals and presentations showcasing BDC’s financing products and advisory services tailored to each client.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with underwriters, credit analysts, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of financing solutions.
Required Strengths and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven business development experience in commercial financing or financial services.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, financing options, and credit analysis.
Bilingualism (English/French) may be required depending on location.
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet/exceed targets.
Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
