Senior Cloud Deal Desk Manager

As a Senior Cloud Deal Desk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in structuring, pricing, and optimizing deals across OpenText Cloud (SaaS) and services offerings. You will partner closely with Sales, Legal, Product, Security, and other cross-functional teams to ensure deals are profitable, compliant, and aligned with customer needs.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you will analyze complex transactions, advise senior leadership, and guide teams to execute strategic pricing and contracting decisions. Serving as a trusted commercial advisor, you will balance financial rigor with business pragmatism—translating deal complexity into clear, actionable recommendations.

What The Role Offers
 

  • Create and advise on innovative pricing strategies and deal structures for Cloud, SaaS, and services offerings.
  • Analyze regional trends in pricing, deal structures, and revenue streams to provide insights to senior leaders.
  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to streamline the deal cycle, ensuring consistency and value across geographies.
  • Review and approve deals, applying corporate policies and representing executive leadership as needed.
  • Own preparation of Cloud P&Ls, contract renewals, and pricing approvals.
  • Participate in commercial negotiations, coordinating technical, financial, and legal aspects of complex deals.
  • Continuously enhance existing processes to improve efficiency, deal velocity, and profitability.
     

What You Need To Succeed
 

  • 5–10 years of experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Bid Management, Sales Operations, Legal, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to work with senior leadership, up to CEO level, and build strong relationships with Sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud services, SaaS commercial models, and enterprise contracts.
  • Excellent financial and business acumen, with experience drafting commercial contract language.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently across global virtual teams.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with US GAAP revenue recognition is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Some travel may be required.
