Senior Business Analyst

Description:

Millennium Software and Staffing Inc, in partnership with Capgemini, is seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA/BA) to join their team on a contract basis in Toronto, ON. This role involves working on medium to large-scale Agile projects integrated with multiple upstream and downstream applications, with a primary focus on financial, wealth management, and client reporting systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for business analysis, requirements gathering, user story creation, and facilitating smooth communication between business and technical teams while ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Senior Business System Analyst for Agile projects with integrated systems.

• Write and manage detailed User Stories aligned with project requirements.

• Query databases (Oracle), execute APIs (Postman/Swagger), and utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural, and Figma.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.

• Participate in a mandatory face-to-face meeting with the Capgemini team prior to assignment start.

• Support project integration with upstream and downstream applications.

• Provide insights, propose solutions, and ensure project deliverables meet operational and compliance needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior BSA/BA.

• Proven track record working on medium to large Agile projects.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Oracle databases, API execution, and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Mural, Figma).

• Financial/Wealth Management/Portfolio Management/Client Reporting exposure required.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Ability to facilitate discussions and influence decision-making among stakeholders.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Ability to read and understand code logic (OOP, control structures).
