Description:
Tway IT Labs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Assurance Manager / Director to join its growing public accounting practice. This is a key leadership role designed for a CPA professional who thrives in managing assurance and tax engagements, mentoring teams, and fostering long-term client relationships. As an integral member of the leadership team, you will collaborate directly with Partners and Principals, oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, and contribute to the overall strategic direction and expansion of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage assurance engagements, including compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements.
Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, working papers, and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide advisory support to clients, developing trusted and long-term professional relationships.
Mentor and guide junior team members through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and performance development.
Maintain adherence to quality standards, professional guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Partners and Principals to support firm-wide initiatives, including leadership development and strategic planning.
Contribute to community-driven initiatives and uphold the firm’s reputation for excellence in client service.
Qualifications:
CPA designation in good standing.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm.
Expertise in assurance services (compilation, review, audit) and tax engagements.
Strong proficiency with Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client expectations.
A passion for mentoring, team collaboration, and continuous professional development.
Additional Details:
Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid work model (option to work in-office or hybrid as per candidate preference).
Office Locations: Guelph, Fergus, Kitchener, Orangeville, or Shelburne.
Compensation: Competitive salary of $144000 – $175000 per year ($12000 – $14583 per month), plus comprehensive benefits and perks.
Hours: Full-time role, with additional hours required during peak tax and audit seasons.
