Senior Architect

Description:

Passive House and/or LEED® certifications are an asset
Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia
Registered with AIBC or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia
Must reside in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate
Must have working status in Canada
Have exceptional design skills and a strong critical perspective
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Self-motivated team player and team leader that enjoys working collaboratively
Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
Team player, positive attitude

Excellent technical knowledge including

Strong working knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and local zoning by-laws

Strong technical knowledge in building detailing
Ability to effectively coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities
Experience managing project schedules and budgets
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Design Suites, & Sketchup
