Senior Analyst

 

Description:

LGS, an IBM Company, is seeking an Analyste principal – Implantation de solutions logicielles bancaires to join its growing team in Montréal. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and diverse environment, contributing to large-scale digital transformation projects across the public and private sectors. As part of the IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC) in Québec, you’ll work closely with talented professionals, participate in cutting-edge projects, and have access to IBM’s vast intellectual capital and continuous learning resources.

In this position, you will oversee the technical and operational management of strategic banking applications, ensuring optimal system integration, stability, and performance. You will play a key role in implementing technical software solutions for clients, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout all deployment phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical and operational aspects of core banking applications such as Premier, Precision Business Process Manager, Integrated Teller, Focus DB Manager, and Onboard Advisor.

  • Participate in the implementation of technical software solutions for clients while adhering to best practices and quality standards.

  • Conduct technical analysis and problem resolution, including performance diagnostics and system tuning.

  • Lead and execute end-to-end integration projects involving Windows Server, SQL databases, and IBM db2 infrastructure.

  • Monitor and optimize system performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and other monitoring tools.

  • Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for system processes and deployments.

  • Configure and support automated file transfers and scripting (PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with client expectations and project objectives.

  • Support production deployment activities, post-implementation follow-ups, and continuous process improvements.

  • Contribute to modernization initiatives to enhance and evolve existing banking applications.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of technical experience in software product implementation, system integration, or application support.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL, IBM db2, and Windows Server environments.

  • Experience using system monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python, with experience using tools like Visual Cron.

  • Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously with precision and consistency.

  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities, capable of simplifying technical information for diverse audiences.

  • A client-oriented approach with a focus on reliability, performance, and quality in banking operations.
