Senior Ai Developer

Description:

We're seeking a Senior Developer - AI for a Public Sector client (Canada Remote). This 6-month contract (extension possible) requires ServiceNow Certified professionals with 7+ years software development, 5+ years ServiceNow development (including recent AI modules), 4+ years technical lead experience, and expertise in ServiceNow AI capabilities like Virtual Agent, NLP, and Predictive Intelligence.

Mandatory Certifications
 

• ICAgile OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• 2+ ServiceNow Implementation Specialist AND/OR ServiceNow Application Developer
   

Must Haves
 

• Software development: 7+ years
• ServiceNow development: 5+ years (AI modules experience within last year)
• Java knowledge/understanding
• Technical lead experience: 4+ years (code reviews, branch strategy, DevSecOps, team coaching)
   

AI Module Focus (Recent Experience Required)
 

• Virtual Agent (conversational AI chatbots)
• Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
• Predictive Intelligence (classification, similarity rules)
• AI Search + Performance Analytics integration
