The Opportunity

We are partnering with an established CPA firm in Ottawa that is looking to strengthen its team with an accounting professional who brings experience in assurance, compilation and/or public accounting.

The firm is open-minded regarding seniority and will consider candidates from Associate through Senior and Manager level, although the most immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior Accountant.

This could be particularly attractive to someone currently working within public accounting who is looking for their next step with an Ottawa-based CPA firm and wants continued exposure to assurance, compilation and accounting engagements.

The firm is interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:

• Assurance engagements
• Compilation engagements
• Financial statement preparation
• General accounting and year-end work
• Working directly with clients within a public accounting environment
• Reviewing or supporting engagement files appropriate to your level
• Managing multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, where applicable
