Description:
BDC, Canada’s only bank dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs, is seeking a Senior Account Manager in Grande Prairie, AB. This role is focused on driving business development, managing client portfolios, and helping entrepreneurs achieve success through financing solutions and advisory services. As part of BDC, you will be working in a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-driven environment while making a tangible impact on Canadian businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with entrepreneurs to assess business needs, provide expert advice, and propose appropriate BDC solutions.
Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio while actively acquiring new clients and building a pipeline of opportunities.
Review, negotiate, and present financing proposals while applying sound credit judgment.
Network within the local business community and leverage your existing contacts to develop strong client relationships.
Execute an action plan aligned with the Business Centre’s objectives to ensure client growth and retention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field.
4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial banking/finance with strong knowledge of business operations.
Ability to analyze financial statements and assess financing proposals.
Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
Excellent negotiation and customer service abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
Established network in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.
Willingness and ability to travel to rural and remote communities.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
