Description:

Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Executive, Private Client Services to join their Ontario team. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional who thrives in building long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and delivering tailored insurance solutions that match their unique needs.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in growing Westland’s Private Client Services portfolio by managing existing high-value clients while driving new business opportunities through proactive engagement, strategic sales planning, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of high-net-worth personal insurance clients, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and continued relationship growth.

  • Provide personalized service and expert advice by assessing client exposures and recommending customized insurance solutions.

  • Drive sales results by developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand existing insurance programs and attract new clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and cohesive client communication.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding billing, claims, and coverage while maintaining superior service standards.

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to support revenue growth and enhance client coverage portfolios.

  • Stay up to date on market trends, evolving insurance products, and emerging risks affecting high-net-worth clients.

  • Participate in community events, professional networking, and industry conferences to strengthen client relationships and brand visibility.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience serving high-net-worth or private clients, or 10+ years in personal insurance lines.

  • RIBO License (required).

  • Completion or active pursuit of CAIB / CIP designation (an asset).

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a book of business.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities with a professional demeanor.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously within a supportive team environment.
