Description:

  • Producing new business and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategies designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities.
  • Developing comprehensive annual and quarterly new business sales and development plans for identified targeted prospects and existing clients based on being accountable for pre-agreed financial goals.
  • Developing new contacts and building relationships with prospects that align with the Region’s/Branch’s acknowledged targeted industry or segment groups.
  • Providing leadership necessary for development and delivery of insurance and industry related presentations/seminars prospects and clients as required.
  • Acting as the visible face of Aon to clients/prospects in the community, working to facilitate lead generation activities.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned to deliver business results and distinctive client value.

This department also has the highest growth potential and is a strong contributor to the Vancouver’s results. This role has been created to continue growth expansion into the local mid-large market segments as well as other verticals within General Practice, with a focus on Real Estate, Manufacturing and Public Sector.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for the day-to-day, account management of Aon’s relationships with assigned clients as your primary role as well as leading client service teams to identify and meet client needs in order to retain and grow a profitable book of business. Promoting the value Aon delivers to clients through service, consultation, and collaboration.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance account management experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Client relationship focused.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of competing deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient with the Microsoft Office Package, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
