Description:
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
Qualifications, Required Licence, or Certification:
- Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Willing to travel 40-50 kilometers to work if needed.
