Seasonal Sales Associate

Description:

icebreaker, a pioneer of ethical and sustainable natural performance apparel and part of VF Corporation, is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates for their Touchlab Rideau store in Ottawa. This role supports the store during the busy season with a possibility of transition to a regular position. Seasonal Associates are responsible for merchandise replenishment, maintaining cleanliness on the sales floor and stockroom, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product availability and presentation according to visual guidelines and brand standards.

• Deliver a best-in-class consumer experience, assisting customers and building strong relationships.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales results and store objectives.

• Follow company policies, safety, security, and shrink avoidance programs.

• Participate in cashier duties and support store operations, including inventory replenishment and loss prevention.

• Maintain an inclusive, positive, and engaging environment for both team members and customers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 0–1 years of retail or customer service experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move product up to 50 pounds.

• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

• Team player with flexibility and adaptability.

• Basic computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, software programs).

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to engage authentically with a diverse customer base.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly wage: $18.60 – $20.16 CAD per hour
