PRT Growing Services Ltd., North America’s largest grower of forest seedlings with over 40 years of expertise and more than 5 billion seedlings grown, is seeking Seasonal Forest Nursery Workers for the upcoming Fall Harvest Season. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking seasonal employment in a dynamic outdoor and indoor environment. Whether you’re new to forestry or have relevant experience, this role offers hands-on work that directly contributes to environmental sustainability and reforestation efforts.

In this role, you will work as part of a committed team to prepare millions of high-quality seedlings for planting. Tasks will include harvesting, sorting, grading, bundling, and packing seedlings with meticulous care to ensure quality standards are met. The work schedule is generally from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for approximately 8 weeks starting in October and running until December. Additional seasonal work opportunities may be available for the 2026 sowing and thinning seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work both outdoors and indoors in a fast-paced forest nursery environment.

• Perform seedling harvesting activities including sorting, grading, bundling, and packing.

• Maintain consistent quality and handle seedlings with care.

• Follow company protocols for safety, accuracy, and productivity.

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily production goals.

Requirements & Skills:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.

• Willingness to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.

• Reliability and commitment to completing the full seasonal term.
