Description:
TransLink, one of BC’s Top Employers, is seeking a Scrum Master to join its team in Vancouver, BC. This role is key in supporting Agile and DevOps transformation within the organization by guiding teams, facilitating Scrum practices, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The successful candidate will act as a change agent, remove barriers to progress, and collaborate with product owners and other teams to enhance communication, efficiency, and product outcomes.
The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing both remote and on-site work within British Columbia, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Promote Agile principles and support Agile/DevOps transformation initiatives.
Guide teams in establishing normalized estimates and understanding estimation processes.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, grooming, product demos, and retrospectives.
Act as a change agent by removing impediments and fostering collaboration.
Coordinate with other teams to enhance cross-team communication and relationships.
Support Product Owners to ensure product delivery aligns with timelines and business goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or global equivalent).
Scrum certifications preferred: SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Agile program development and managing Scrum teams, preferably in a large enterprise.
Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
Up to 1 year of additional familiarization with TransLink’s systems, policies, and corporate roadmap may be required.
Monthly salary: CAD 8,993 – 10,791 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
37.5-hour work week.
