Sap Enterprise Data Architect

Description:

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an SAP Enterprise Data Architect for their premier client in Winnipeg, Canada. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in leading data migration and master data management strategies for SAP applications. This position requires a high level of expertise in data assessment, migration, and the architecture of migration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify source data to meet master and transactional data requirements for the SAP Application.

• Lead data assessment and mapping activities and architect the migration framework to extract, transform, validate, enrich, and load legacy source data.

• Define and implement the strategy and solutions for migrating legacy data into the SAP Application.

• Plan and manage technical developers’ efforts in the migration process.

• Oversee application and data migration of legacy systems (including older versions of SAP) and handle the transition approach within the project.

• Provide technical leadership in using the technology platform and tools for profiling and migrating legacy data.

• Develop and set up a concept for migration (data and application), managing time, costs, and risk.

Master Data Management:

• Create Master Data change processes and tools in collaboration with the business.

• Develop and enforce Master Data Management policies and procedures.

• Define security standards and measures to ensure data security.

• Determine policies and tools for Master Data Management processes.

• Ensure Master Data Management aligns with business strategies.

• Provide support to data management improvement initiatives.

• Offer requirements for the Master Data governance strategy/plan.

• Accept responsibility for Master Data operations from the project team.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in SAP data architecture, migration, and master data management.

• Ability to manage data migration and ensure smooth transitions from legacy systems.

• Expertise in setting up migration concepts while managing risks, time, and costs.

• Proficiency in leading technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.
