Salesforce Devops Engineer

Yochana Consulting is seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Salesforce deployments are executed efficiently and effectively while accelerating the deployment process through automation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Salesforce metadata, deployment tools, and DevOps practices to help streamline and support development and deployment processes across Salesforce environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Salesforce Sandbox Environments, handling deployment issues, and overseeing rollback deployments. Additionally, this position requires expertise in automating deployment processes and supporting DevOps initiatives to reduce lead time and enhance overall team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Salesforce metadata and perform metadata deployments

• Utilize tools such as Flosum, Copado, AutoRabit, Gearset, BitBucket, Git, and Jenkins to deploy Salesforce metadata

• Develop automation processes to accelerate deployments and reduce lead times

• Handle deployment issues raised by developers and squads

• Manage Salesforce Sandbox Environments and perform rollback deployments

• Provide technical support for ongoing DevOps initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Salesforce metadata and metadata deployments

• Experience with at least one deployment tool (Flosum, Copado, AutoRabit, Gearset, BitBucket/Git/Jenkins)

• Ability to support the development of automations within a DevOps initiative to accelerate deployments

• Proficiency in managing Salesforce Sandbox Environments

• Experience in handling rollback deployments and resolving deployment issues

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with scripting via GitHub Actions

• Familiarity with delta deployments and delta test executions
