Salesforce Administrator

 

Description:


This position involves being part of a dynamic team environment responsible for troubleshooting and supporting software solutions in Salesforce to meet business requirements in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Services.

The position will be primarily focused on the systems used by Sales. The primary application is Salesforce.com. Additional knowledge in D&B, Level11, Apptus, Zuora, Conga/Novatus, RO Innovation, and more are desirable but not necessary. We primarily use the Sales Cloud, including Advanced CPQ, with integrations into other enterprise systems such as SAP, experience is desirable.

 


You Are Great At:

 


Perform SalesForce.com and related third-party software administration tasks including:

  • Serve as an administrator of the SalesForce.com application
  • Work with internal customers to identify business process and system issues and potential enhancements
  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other setup options
  • Regularly perform database de-duping and cleanup procedures
  • Manage processes to promote system changes into production upon completion of appropriate change management and org readiness activities
  • Prepare data files and upload the data into SalesForce.com
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that the configuration effectively supports business requirements
  • Respond to daily production tickets in a timely manner
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between SalesForce.com and other Enterprise systems

 


What It Takes:

 


  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Salesforce Admin certification
  • 4+ years of experience as a SalesForce.com administrator/super user
  • Experience aligning business applications with complex business process requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong analysis and decision-making abilities, including problem-solving
  • Strong sense of ownership and desire/ability to exceed expectations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work on tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand and act in accordance with the corporate and team mission, values and principles
  • Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM software packages
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
