Description:

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is currently seeking a Parts & Service Sales Representative (PSSR) to join their team remotely based in Surrey, British Columbia. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong customer service orientation and a passion for sales, particularly in the mining and heavy equipment sectors.

As a key member of the aftermarket sales team, the PSSR is responsible for identifying business opportunities, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships within a designated territory. The individual will play an integral role in developing Sandvik’s presence, especially for aftermarket support and solutions, while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive sales opportunities for all Sandvik Mining product lines, with a focus on aftermarket parts and services.

  • Conduct gap analyses on customer fleets and perform quarterly audits to identify potential sales and service needs.

  • Participate actively in account and sales team strategy sessions.

  • Perform customer and site-specific opportunity analyses to assess full potential.

  • Act as the liaison for customers on aftermarket issues and ensure timely resolutions.

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Foster long-term customer development by emphasizing productivity, reliability, and alignment with Sandvik values.

  • Remain updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments to influence customer strategies.

  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Technical degree or two-year college diploma in a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in the mining or heavy equipment industry; sales experience preferred.

  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Prior experience with Sandvik products is advantageous.

  • High proficiency in data analysis and use of CRM software is desirable.

  • Exceptional customer service focus and proactive problem-solving attitude.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, locally and nationally.
