Position Overview:
The Sales Representative will develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients across SAQ stores and restaurant networks. The main responsibility is to grow sales within the assigned territory while ensuring the proper distribution of the agency’s products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct client visits across the South Shore of Montreal and Estrie territories

  • Become a trusted reference for clients

  • Prospect new clients within the defined territory (agencies, restaurants)

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong business relationships

  • Manage promotional purchases in stores according to marketing department objectives

  • Ensure the proper execution and management of promotions in stores

  • Participate in various promotional activities, such as trade shows and tastings

  • Contribute to developing business growth strategies

  • Prepare daily reports

  • Good knowledge of wine and SAQ operations

  • Passion for wine and good knowledge of the product

  • Availability to host promotional evenings and trade shows

  • Initiative and resourcefulness

  • Fluent in French with a good knowledge of English


Education and Experience:

  • College diploma or professional studies

  • 2-3 years or more experience in sales, hospitality, sommellerie, or restaurant sectors

  • Experience in wine, spirits, beer, and other alcoholic beverages categories and retail is an asset

  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite and EzFocus software

  • Sommelier diploma and/or WSET certification is an asset

  • Must have a car
