SOTI, a global leader in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and provider of cutting-edge SaaS solutions for managing and securing mobile and IoT devices, is seeking a Team Lead, Sales Development to join its growing team in Mississauga, Ontario.

The role involves both leadership and active sales participation, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy coaching teams while remaining deeply engaged in business development and pipeline management.
Lead, train, and coach a section of the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for identifying and engaging new business opportunities.
Act as a player-coach, personally managing a set of leads to demonstrate best practices in prospecting, qualification, and relationship building.
Establish and manage structured outreach processes, including personalized call and email cadences, ensuring efficiency and authenticity in engagement.
Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with SDRs, focusing on skill development, goal setting, and performance improvement.
Motivate and inspire team members to exceed individual and collective targets through continuous coaching and recognition.
Manage Salesforce lead queues, track metrics, and prepare detailed performance reports for management.
Perform quarterly and annual performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and clear career progression paths.
Identify process improvements and recommend tools and workflow optimizations to enhance pipeline generation and conversion rates.
Collaborate with management to set realistic goals, develop strategies for market expansion, and strengthen SDR productivity.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture emphasizing learning, accountability, and teamwork.
Required:
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or Account Management roles within a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
Proven track record as a top-performing Senior SDR or Account Manager, exceeding pipeline and quota goals.
Demonstrated leadership potential—experience mentoring peers or new hires in a collaborative sales culture.
Strong understanding of Salesforce and other sales enablement tools (e.g., Gong, SalesLoft/Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive results.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred:
Prior team leadership experience in Sales Development within a SaaS or technology company.
Experience building scalable sales processes while maintaining personalization and relationship quality.
