Merrithew®, the global leader in mind-body education and equipment, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support its Education Sales division in Scarborough, ON. Founded in 1988, Merrithew® has trained over 80,000 instructors and partners worldwide, developed six innovative education programs—including STOTT PILATES®, ZEN·GA®, Total Barre®, Halo® Training, Merrithew Fascial Movement, and CORE™ Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training™—and produced a comprehensive line of professional and at-home equipment and accessories.
As a Sales Coordinator, you will provide vital administrative and operational support to Merrithew’s education programs at Host and Licensed Training Centers. This hybrid role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of balancing sales support, customer service, administrative coordination, and hosting logistics while contributing to revenue growth and the flawless execution of training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Business Development
Assist with market research, lead generation, and qualification of leads, forwarding pre-qualified opportunities to Sales Managers.
Support onboarding and training of new Host Centers and collaborate with Marketing to promote them across multiple platforms.
Generate and maintain detailed sales reports to inform management decisions.
Participate in customer meetings, providing support and ensuring client satisfaction.
Customer Service & Client Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for Merrithew Training Centers (MTCs).
Regularly communicate with facility owners and operators to support student and program needs.
Proactively engage MTCs about ongoing and future training requirements.
Coordinate with Marketing, Communications, and Programming teams to ensure hosting clients and students receive timely support.
Administrative & Financial Support
Maintain accurate student records, issue completion letters, and coordinate exams.
Update and cross-reference data for accurate reporting.
Review and process invoices, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
Assist with scheduling, IT assignments, and other administrative duties.
Hosting Coordination & Administration
Pre-Hosting: Prepare hosting and Instructor Trainer (IT) agreements, manage event orders and invoicing, coordinate IT travel, accommodations, visas, and logistics.
During Hosting: Provide ongoing support to ITs and Training Sites, ensuring smooth operations.
Post-Hosting: Collect and process exam documentation, follow up on missing records, issue completion letters, and process IT invoices for accounting.
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in sales support, coordination, and customer service.
Post-secondary education in Business/Office Administration preferred.
Bilingual abilities (French, Mandarin/Cantonese, or Spanish) are strong assets.
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Windows Office applications, and CRM software.
Team player with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
