The Sales Associate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer service experience by styling clients, promoting the brand, and fostering lasting customer relationships. Associates will support the management team in growing store business, achieving sales and service metrics, and executing operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized, meaningful customer experiences that promote Talbots’ products and strengthen client relationships.

  • Actively support the management team in driving store sales and growth.

  • Utilize service enhancers such as Concierge to improve client engagement and loyalty.

  • Manage multiple customers simultaneously, multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends and new arrivals to deliver informed styling advice.

  • Use product knowledge to create coordinated outfits and recommend complementary items.

  • Achieve key performance metrics including sales goals, client outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards program.

  • Participate in training opportunities, accept coaching, and apply feedback to improve performance.

  • Assist in operational duties such as order fulfillment, replenishment, and recovery.

  • Ensure visual merchandising aligns with Talbots’ modern classic aesthetic.
