Robotics Systems Integration Engineer

House of Robotics is looking for a hands-on Robotics Systems Integration Engineer to deploy, troubleshoot, validate, and improve autonomous robotic systems in real-world environments.

This is not a simulation-only or pure software role.

We need someone comfortable working across robotics software, hardware, sensors, networking, power systems, and cloud infrastructure who can take ownership when something doesn’t work in the field.

What You’ll Do

* Deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot autonomous mobile robots
* Diagnose hardware/software integration issues
* Work with LiDAR, SLAM, GPS, cameras, thermal sensors, IMUs, and autonomous navigation
* Troubleshoot 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, routers, SIM/APN configurations, and remote connectivity
* Work with Linux, robot management platforms, APIs, WebSockets, and RTSP
* Validate manufacturer specifications against real-world performance
* Test battery runtime, connectivity, navigation, obstacle avoidance, and environmental performance
* Diagnose SLAM drift, localization, sensor, and navigation failures
* Develop and test failure modes for network, sensor, server, and communication interruptions
* Support customer deployments, mapping, commissioning, and integrations
* Work with manufacturers and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
* Help establish deployment, testing, cybersecurity, and maintenance standards

What We’re Looking For

* Degree/diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Hands-on experience with autonomous robots, AGVs, AMRs, drones, or electromechanical systems
* Experience with ROS/ROS2, Linux, SLAM, LiDAR, navigation, sensors, and networking
* Understanding of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, cellular networking, routers, and remote systems
* Ability to systematically troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and software problems
* Comfortable with logs, telemetry, command-line tools, diagnostics, and technical documentation
* Willingness to work directly with robots and attend customer deployments
