Revit Drafter

Description:

Concentric Associates, a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm specializing in Buildings & Infrastructure, Environmental, and Agricultural projects, is seeking a full-time AutoCAD/Revit Drafter to join their London, Ontario office. This is an entry-level, on-site position suitable for candidates with approximately 2 years of drafting/design experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality conceptual and detailed construction drawings from design through to execution. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and designers on a wide array of projects ranging from residential to complex commercial, institutional, and industrial developments. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop precise drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software.

• Convert sketches, marked-up drawings, and instructions into accurate designs.

• Conduct thorough self-review to catch and resolve design issues proactively.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and project managers.

• Maintain strong client and contractor communication during site visits and meetings.

• Ensure all drawings meet internal standards and project-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (~2 years through work or academic experience).

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings/specs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle (for occasional site visits).

Preferred Assets:

• Co-op or professional experience in an engineering/architectural firm.

• Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, or BIM coordination.

• Bilingual in English and French.

• Familiarity with building codes or any additional technical certifications.
