Retail Supervisor

Description:

Bath & Body Works is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Retail Supervisor to join the leadership team at our Pickering Town Centre location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner closely with the Store Manager to lead and inspire associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and contribute to the store’s growth. As a brand ambassador, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and creating a welcoming store atmosphere where customers feel valued and engaged.

The Retail Supervisor will attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent while acting as Manager on Duty when required to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or operational needs. Key responsibilities include overseeing opening and closing routines, interpreting and implementing company directives, setting daily goals for associates, providing real-time coaching, and ensuring the team meets selling expectations. The role also requires leading by example in delivering personalized customer service, conducting product demonstrations, making tailored recommendations, and reinforcing Bath & Body Works’ core values.

This position involves a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders as needed to maintain store presentation and serve customers. You will also play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging environment, adhering strictly to safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven success in sales, customer service, and operations in a fast-paced retail setting

• Supervisory experience, preferably in retail

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and adapt quickly

• Customer-first mindset with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations

• Ability to work peak business periods including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience
