The Stylist plays a key role in providing a world-class shopping experience through exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge, and a passion for helping clients find their dream dresses. As a brand ambassador, the Stylist embodies David’s Bridal’s values, professionalism, and commitment to delivering “5-Star Customer Service” to every guest.
Customer Engagement & Sales Excellence
Welcome customers warmly and provide a personalized shopping experience that meets emotional and practical needs.
Guide customers through the bridal selection process, aiming to identify the perfect gown or dress within the first three try-ons.
Maintain expert knowledge of styles, fits, and alteration options to advise customers effectively.
Manage customer appointments, prepare fitting rooms, and follow up with clients to secure future sales.
Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your style to suit each customer.
Store Operations & Standards
Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Use all in-store systems to manage customer flow and ensure a smooth experience.
Assist with merchandising, promotional setups, markdowns, and inventory counts.
Accurately process transactions at the point of sale, confirming details and promoting add-on products and services.
Sales Targets & Performance Management
Achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals through the 5-Step Selling Process.
Maintain a 65%+ conversion rate and meet add-on sales targets (headpieces 75%, foundations 10%, shoes 20%).
Support company loyalty programs and promotions.
Partner with Alterations Specialists to help brides perfect their dresses and achieve an 80% alterations conversion goal.
Professional Development & Teamwork
Participate actively in team initiatives, supporting colleagues to meet shared objectives.
Complete all required training and stay up to date on new products, trends, and sales techniques.
Share expertise and celebrate team successes.
Remain open to feedback and use coaching insights for professional growth.
Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be comfortable using electronic devices and POS systems.
