Description:
We are looking for a committed and resourceful individual to join our Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team as a Resource Management Specialist. Our PCS team leads the industry in generating data to ensure the patient voice is incorporated into the development and commercialization of medications and other drug/non-drug interventions. We focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our clients, mainly life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, through the application of consulting expertise and scientific technical knowledge to design scientifically rigorous research.
The ideal candidate will combine emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable managing conflicting priorities. You will be responsible for influencing senior stakeholders and making independent decisions in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the integrity of resource management data in the time management/CRM system, supporting resource and project management decisions.
Build reports and dashboards to provide teams with improved insights for resource allocations, compliance, utilization, and metrics.
Participate in staffing and team calls to optimize resource allocation.
Collaborate with global resource management colleagues to deploy staff effectively, balancing individual development and overall productivity.
Engage with principals and senior leaders to understand and meet resourcing demands through various reports and tools.
Monitor and communicate delivery capacity, both current and near-term.
Flag resource capability gaps to the Resource Management team to support hiring decisions.
Identify and assign teams within the PCS group to client projects, business development opportunities, thought leadership, and internal initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in Resource Management.
Proven problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build strong business relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to demonstrate determination, diplomacy, and resilience.
Ability to assimilate multiple types of information quickly for effective decision-making.
Prior experience in resource management or professional services is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Smartsheet and PSA (Professional Services Automation) is a plus.
