Description:
Charles River Laboratories, a leading contract research organization (CRO) with over 75 years of experience, is seeking a Research Scientist – Immunogenicity for its Senneville, Montreal site. The successful candidate will serve as a Principal Investigator, responsible for the design, execution, and reporting of laboratory science studies with scientific rigor and operational efficiency.
The role involves managing immunogenicity studies, overseeing lab procedures, ensuring high-quality data, and contributing to the advancement of preclinical drug development programs.
Design, write, review, and edit study plans, amendments, and schedules.
Oversee and coordinate all laboratory science procedures for assigned studies.
Write, review, and edit draft and final reports documenting study procedures and results.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of project cost estimates.
Review and approve raw experimental data.
Lead scientific work collaboratively in a team environment.
Contribute to the development and optimization of ligand-binding assays (ELISAs, ECLs) and cell-based assays.
Master’s degree in Immunology or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
PhD in Immunology or other biological science preferred.
Experience in assay development and optimization (ligand binding and/or cell-based assays).
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is an asset.
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
