Research Coordinator

 

Description:

  • Administrative Research

    • Develop informed consent forms, source documents, worksheets and case report forms

    • Develop databases

    • Prepare and submit study documents to the ethic board

    • Retrospective chart review and perform data entry for studies

    • Complete case report forms and review them against the patient's medical record for completeness and accuracy

  • Participant Management

    • Recruit eligible subjects for research projects

    • Obtain consent from subjects wishing to participant in health research projects according to standard approved protocol

    • Administering questionnaires or diaries per protocol

    • Monitoring research participants to ensure adherence to study rules

  • Project Management

    • Ensuring compliance with SOPs and local regulations

    • Ensuring that the necessary supplies and equipment for a study are in stock and in working order

    • Collect and maintain data logs

    • Complete binders for prospective studies and clinical trials

    • Develop project timelines

  • Communication and Coaching

    • Training other colleagues on protocol requirements, proper source documentation and case report form completion

    • Assist faculty member with the coordinating research staff and volunteers, including assisting with the delegation of tasks and duties

  • Budget Management

    • Analyze budgets for agreements with sponsors

    • Prepare invoices for billing purposes for various research studies
