Looking for a hands-on laboratory role in biotechnology? A biotechnology client in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a Research Associate I/II for a six-month onsite contract supporting cell and gene research.
🧪 Key responsibilities and expertise
The role focuses on laboratory research involving human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and immune cells.
Candidates should ideally have:
Hands-on human cell culture experience
Flow cytometry experience, preferably multicolour flow cytometry
A background in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or a related field
⭐ Additional experience that would be an advantage:
Primary human immune cells
iPSC culture and differentiation
Western blotting
Cell-based assays
🎯 Who can apply?
BSc or MSc in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related discipline
Entry-level candidates through researchers with up to 5 years of laboratory or research experience
