Report Developer

Description:

Dimensional Tech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Report Developer (with WebFocus) for an exciting contract opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports using WebFocus and SQL, while ensuring the accuracy, performance, and scalability of reporting systems that support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using WebFocus.

• Write and manage SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple data sources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure business needs are accurately captured.

• Support and enhance large-scale enterprise reporting applications.

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve existing reporting processes and ensure system efficiency.

• Ensure data integrity, validation, and compliance with internal standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with WebFocus report development.

• Proficiency in SQL and database management.

• Experience with large-scale applications and data-intensive environments.

• Familiarity with Java programming is an asset.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment with limited supervision.
