Straight Up Health is a modern, youth-focused mental health clinic based in Ontario, committed to helping children, teens, young adults, and their families build emotional resilience and mental well-being. Known for its clinically sound yet approachable and real-world therapeutic style, the clinic is expanding and looking to onboard a Registered Therapist who is passionate about working with youth between the ages of 5 and 20.

This part-time hybrid position offers the opportunity to conduct both in-person sessions at the Toronto clinic and virtual therapy sessions across Ontario. The ideal candidate will be warm, experienced, engaging, and comfortable supporting diverse emotional and psychological challenges faced by young individuals and families today.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and family therapy to children, teens, and young adults (ages 5–20).

• Conduct therapy sessions both virtually and on-site at the Toronto clinic.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, coaches, and client support staff.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and contribute optionally to program development.

• Emotional regulation

• Anxiety and depression

• Self-esteem and identity development

• Academic stress and school-related issues

• Life transitions and family dynamics

Requirements:

• Must be registered and in good standing with one of the following Ontario regulatory bodies:

  • CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario)

  • OCSWSSW (Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers)

• Demonstrated experience supporting clients in the 5–20 age group

• Skilled in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Play Therapy, etc.

• Strong communication, empathy, and client-first orientation

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Flexible to work in a hybrid model (combination of remote and in-person sessions)
