Mind Unwind Psychotherapy, a progressive and compassionate mental health clinic in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking dedicated and empathetic Registered Psychotherapists certified in EMDR to join their growing team. The clinic provides innovative, evidence-based therapeutic services to clients navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, and major life transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver trauma-focused therapy utilizing EMDR techniques, along with other evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.).

• Provide psychotherapy to diverse populations, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families (depending on specialization).

• Conduct both in-person and virtual therapy sessions, ensuring flexible accessibility for clients.

• Maintain professional, ethical standards in alignment with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

• Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to provide seamless client experiences.

• Potentially contribute to supervision and training if qualified.

• Support the clinic’s mission of becoming a one-stop-shop mental health solution and positive community influence.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Psychotherapy, Counseling, Psychology, etc.).

• Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (qualifying candidates welcome to apply).

• EMDR Certification is required.

• Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT is an asset.

• Experience as a couples/family therapist is an asset.

• Clinical supervision experience is a plus.

• Multilingual abilities considered a strong advantage.
