Elgin County is seeking dedicated and qualified Registered Practical Nurses to join the nursing team at Elgin Manor, a 90-bed long-term care facility affectionately known as “the home where the heart is.” Located just minutes outside of St. Thomas, ON, Elgin Manor offers a supportive and compassionate environment focused on resident-centred care.

As an RPN, you will collaborate closely with Registered Nurses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care. Your clinical skills will be essential to delivering consistent, safe, and high-quality care tailored to each resident's needs, emphasizing compassion and respect.

Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in the nursing team to provide resident-centred care.

• Conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in consultation with RNs.

• Utilize clinical expertise to ensure residents receive appropriate and compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

• Completion of Registered Practical Nurse education.

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP certification.

• Evidence of Pharmacology and Aseptic Technique training.
