Description:

GQR, an award-winning global talent partner, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting opportunity in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Springdale, Arkansas. The Progressive Care Unit Nurse will provide specialized nursing care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are stable enough not to require intensive care. This position is ideal for a skilled and compassionate RN who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is committed to advancing clinical excellence and patient safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and responding promptly to any changes in health status.

  • Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards and hospital policies.

  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families during hospitalization and recovery.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable U.S. state (or eligibility for licensure).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Step-Down Unit, or similar acute care environment.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.

  • Willingness to work night shifts as per schedule.


Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks

  • Shift: Night

  • Location: On-site at healthcare facility in Springdale, Arkansas

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: USD 1591.20 (includes base pay plus per diem for meals and lodging per GSA rates)
