Eternal Staffing is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a hospital-based assignment in Nova Scotia. This position requires a nurse with proven experience in high-acuity environments, specifically in resuscitation and trauma care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes.

The role is contract-based, starting October 10, 2025, and ending January 10, 2026. Eternal Staffing provides accommodation and supportive onboarding to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care in high-acuity hospital settings, including trauma and resuscitation units.

• Administer medications and treatments in line with patient care plans and hospital standards.

• Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and respond promptly to emergencies.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

• Uphold infection control and safety protocols.

• Offer compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on dignity, comfort, and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Nova Scotia.

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in high-acuity (resuscitation/trauma) settings.

• Certifications required: CTAS, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

• Completed 2-Step TB test.

• Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Screening check (expired accepted).

• Immunization record (MMR, DPT, Hepatitis B, Varicella).

• Flu vaccine.

• RN diploma or certificate.

• Two professional references.
