Regional Vice President

Description:

HUB Financial, a division of HUB International and one of Canada's largest Managing General Agencies (MGA), is actively seeking a Vice-Président Régional (Regional Vice President) to join their team in Montreal, QC. This is a full-time hybrid role designed for a dynamic leader with strong insurance industry experience and strategic relationship-building capabilities.

The successful candidate will lead regional growth initiatives by delivering HUB’s value proposition to both existing and prospective financial advisors. This includes recruiting new advisors, supporting the seamless transition of business portfolios, and driving long-term engagement through personalized coaching, education, and customized insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion HUB’s value proposition and promote national/regional sales initiatives, campaigns, and tools.

• Proactively recruit new advisors and facilitate a seamless transfer of their existing business to HUB.

• Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with advisors to promote loyalty and revenue growth.

• Represent HUB at industry events, conferences, and internal meetings to strengthen brand recognition.

• Deliver tailored insurance solutions aligned with client needs by leveraging HUB’s wide-ranging offerings.

• Collaborate closely with insurance carriers to enhance HUB’s market positioning and deliver added value.

• Act as the primary escalation point to resolve advisor concerns using HUB’s national resources.

• Mentor and lead local sales team members, ensuring they meet professional growth and performance targets.

• Align regional strategy and execution in collaboration with the Regional Operations Manager and Investment Specialist.

• Oversee and manage regional budgets to support long-term profitability and reduce write-offs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.

• Post-secondary education is considered an asset.

• Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification is an asset.

• Strong knowledge of insurance products and strategic solutions.

• Familiarity with taxation regulations that affect insurance offerings.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in training and mentoring financial advisors.
