Description:
Canada Vie is hiring a Regional Sales Director (Wealth Management) for its Montreal office. This hybrid role is crucial in driving regional sales performance, developing advisor relationships, and expanding the company's footprint in wealth management products. The successful candidate will lead the growth of wealth management sales by prospecting new clients, supporting advisors, and contributing strategic insights across the investment landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve and exceed sales targets for wealth management products through proactive business development.
Build and strengthen advisor relationships via phone, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
Utilize Salesforce for workflow management, contact tracking, lead generation, and performance reporting.
Support advisors with marketing strategies, product knowledge, and post-sales services.
Collaborate with advisors to analyze their business portfolios and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Serve as an expert consultant on investments, regulatory matters, and high-net-worth solutions.
Present and communicate sales concepts effectively to varied audiences and lead training sessions.
Continuously seek new approaches to improve advisor and client experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Postsecondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Business School or college diploma).
7–10 years of experience in financial and investment services preferred.
Industry certifications required: CSC/IFIC; MBA, FPC, or CIM are assets.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a sales-oriented mindset.
Effective communicator with the ability to train and present clearly.
Skilled at managing high volumes of calls and meetings.
Proven negotiation skills and resilience under pressure.
In-depth understanding of investment products, tools, and market dynamics.
Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory for client servicing in both languages.
