Description:
The Regional Manager for the Americas is responsible for executing the Americas Regional Strategy and fostering key relationships with provincial governments, colleges and universities, industry bodies, and local employers. The primary focus will be on raising the profile of CIOB, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area and the broader Americas, retaining current members, and driving growth through new member acquisition. This is a maternity cover role for 1 year.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing the Americas Regional Strategy, focusing on relationship development with stakeholders.
Raising the profile of CIOB and its services in the Greater Toronto Area and across the Americas.
Retaining current members and acquiring new members.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders through a consultative approach.
Promoting CIOB products and services and adjusting communication style for various audiences.
Managing financial tasks including business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Utilizing MS Office, internal systems, and social media to promote CIOB's work and achievements.
Skills Required:
Excellent business development and customer service skills.
Strong experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
Confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, internal systems, and social media platforms.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
Passion for networking and building relationships.
Experience in the construction or built environment sector, or with professional bodies, is preferred but not essential.
