Regional Financial Analyst

Description:

The Regional Financial Analyst provides financial support to EMBC regional offices and ministry partners; develops, implements and maintains ministry specific account processing procedures; ensures the integrity and maintenance of related financial records and supports the budgeting and forecasting function for response and recovery activities.

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in business administration, public administration, or finance, and a minimum of two (2) years related experience; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Related experience must include:

• Two years experience working with financial accounting systems, procedures and internal controls
• Two years experience interpreting and providing advice on financial policies/procedures
• Two years experience implementing and maintaining financial processes/procedures
• Two years experience tracking, analyzing and reporting financial forecasts.

Preference may be given for:

• 1 year or more supervisory work experience including assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance.

Candidates must be able and willing to:

• Work on-call and extended hours during emergencies and disasters.
• Travel to other regions.
