Regional Finance Analyst

Description:

Brand Safway, a leading global provider of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure services, is seeking an Analyst, Regional Finance to support its regional operations. This position focuses on financial analysis, budget monitoring, credit and collection activities, and leadership of administrative staff to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze branch financial data including Operating Income Statements (OIS), Accounts Receivable, DSO, and Equipment Utilization reports.

• Perform financial analysis of branch projects and recommend corrective or proactive measures.

• Manage credit and collection processes, monitor credit limits, initiate write-offs, and oversee liens, litigation, and holdbacks.

• Assist Finance Manager in annual budget preparation, cost estimation, and corporate variance queries.

• Maintain customer and vendor master data including leases, licenses, and tax verifications.

• Analyze job site financial activities, including unbilled sites, shortages, write-offs, and close-out billing files.

• Oversee inventory control, accruals, and deferrals on a monthly basis.

• Prepare revenue analysis, freight invoice processing, and asset-to-income reconciliation.

• Lead, mentor, and manage administrative staff including hiring, training, appraisals, and performance feedback.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA considered an asset.

• Proficiency in English required; French language skills are an asset.

• Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Lotus Notes preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under changing and conflicting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
