Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
- Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
Qualifications
- Class AZ CDL
- Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience
- Minimum 3 months Tanker experience
- TDG and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed)
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
- Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
