Description:
IDC Worldsource Insurance Network Inc. is seeking a proactive and professional Receptionist to provide frontline customer service and administrative support for a 6-month contract at its Dartmouth office. This role ensures smooth daily operations while supporting management and enhancing overall organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage reception duties including answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating conference room bookings.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, maintain mailing stations, and track advisor-related mail for billing purposes.
Manage office supplies and initiate requisitions for items and carrier forms as needed.
Ship supplies to field advisors and report facility or equipment issues for timely resolution.
Process invoices to ensure vendor payments are made on time.
Assist management with correspondence, reports, appointment scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense documentation.
Support preparation of presentations and marketing materials.
Maintain customer databases and perform general office tasks (filing, photocopying, faxing).
Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of life insurance carriers is an asset.
