Description:
The incumbent works to staff the Kiosk - Student Learning Centre and answer a variety of questions about the available services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reception / Kiosk Staffing:
Greets learners at kiosk in the Student Learning Centre;
Responds to email, chat and in-person questions and inquiries;
Acts as the first point of contact for the Student Learning Centre, guiding learners to the services the centre offers.
Peer Tutor Support:
Assists with Peer Tutor scheduling, bookings, and questions about payment in the Peer Tutoring platform, Tutor Ocean.
Room Bookings:
Provides directional support to students in the 2nd floor DARE district;
Assists learners with DARE District meeting room bookings.
Required Qualifications:
One (1) year certificate in Office Administration or related field;
Experience in a post-secondary environment;
Previous data entry/customer service skills preferred;
Experience in using MS Word or Excel;
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Demonstrated effective organization, time management, and planning skills.
