The Role
As a React Developer, you will design and build complex, high-performance web applications that visualise and manipulate large-scale financial and analytical data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing advanced React-based web applications for data exploration, analytics, and monitoring
- Building rich, interactive user interfaces capable of handling large, real-time datasets
- Collaborating closely with data engineers, quantitative researchers, and traders to deliver intuitive, high-impact tooling
- Optimising frontend performance, responsiveness, and scalability
- Contributing to UI architecture, component libraries, and frontend engineering best practices
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a React Developer or Frontend Software Engineer
- Proven experience building complex, data-driven web applications
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and frontend architecture
- Experience optimising UI performance for large datasets or real-time applications is beneficial
- Familiarity with modern development practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with technical stakeholders
- Background in financial systems or data platforms is beneficial but not essential
