As a Quality Test Engineer, you'll be a vital member of the DataCastor squad looking to drive best quality test practices forward. This will be through enhancing quality aspects ensuring high-quality software delivery is achieved, designing and implementing tests, and effectively prioritizing test cases and workflow. You'll be a key part of the project's delivery and activities. Responsibilities Collaborate within the team to establish and implement best practices and communication is highly efficient. Develop and execute automated and performance testing for projects, successfully and consistently enabling delivery of high-quality software products and services Writing and creating quality software by following development best practices and processes for testing and coding Debugging production issues across all levels of the platform stack. Requirements Demonstrate hands-on experience working with automating tests using Java or Python and APIs tools Be able to illustrate knowledge of operating systems such as XML and JSON Demonstrate knowledge working in agile development in a SCRUM environment Be familiar with DevOps tools such as CI/CD and Cloud technologies Demonstrate experience working on debugging moderately complex and interesting bug fixes Be keen to work collaboratively in a team and be a good team player
